The question is simple, what is your all-time favorite Zelda game?

 

Mine is Majora's Mask, for one reason only: the music.

In my opinion it has the best musical score of any Zelda game to date.

My favorite out this list is A Link to the Past, all the newer ones start seeming to be shorter and less difficult compared to it. Twilight Princess comes close for a tie though.

My favourite will always be Majora's Mask. Even though I enjoyed all the other games, they never really came close. The graphics were great for their time, I loved all the sidequests, Clock Town was fun -- even if you were just running around, and the plot was very original, in my opinion. Wind Waker was my first LoZ game, so it's special. I think it's tied with Ocarina of Time though, because I love that one to bits as well.

Twilight Princess was excellent, but it will NEVER be able to beat Ocarina of Time.

Heh, I'm weird. I love Oracle of Seasons, and I don't really know why. It just has this great vibe to it for me. XP

For me, Ocarina of Time. It was the first Zelda game I beat and the first one that I REALLY loved (even though ALttP is amazing). Honorable mentions go to Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

Link's Awakening was my first Zelda game, so I may be biased, but I enjoy the "not in Hyrule" part, along with all of the new characters and items. And bomb arrows. Man, I love bomb arrows. And a Magic/Fire Rod with no magic meter.

 

EDIT: Changed vote for change. Twilight Princess has slowly become my favorite overall.

My favorite's always been Ocarina of Time. Twilight Princess comes in a close second, but it's just not as satsifying as the first playthough of OoT. Man, I wish I could go back and beat that game again for the first time.

Majora's Mask. Four Swords Adventures and A Link to the Past come close, but the sheer originality and the music puts MM over the top.
