Thanksgiving

What's everybody (that celebrates Thanksgiving) doing for the weekend?

 

I have to work tomorrow, so I only have today off. We're going to visit my in-laws, eat steak (best Thanksgiving food), and watch the Packer game.

Germany does not appear to believe in turkeys, but a professor who used to live in the US took me out to lunch, and we had goose (which is close, I guess). Tonight, I will have chicken.

My friend is coming back home for Thanksgiving so we're getting together tomorrow, which is pretty exciting since I haven't seen him in a while. Other than that, not doing anything really. None of us are huge turkey fans, so we'll be having a cooked ham instead tonight.

Going over to my aunt's tonight, then tomorrow there's beach and a cast party for Oklahoma, which we just wrapped on Sunday. Good times will be had.

Mostly hung out with my family for Thanksgiving. I'm currently hiding from the Black Friday crowd as I'm not terribly sure there's anything on sale that I can think of getting. :(

Ate dinner with the fambam last night, other than that just been hanging with my friends that I don't get to see too often. Went to my best friends'/second family's house after dinner last night and drank spiced rum cider and played N64 Smash Bros. Housewarming party at my friends new apartment tonight. Solid weekend. I love my friends.

i've had a blast coming home for my Thanksgiving break. we don't do our holidays big but i've had a great weekend spending time with my family, friends, and the girlfriend. i just needed a break from the daily grind!
