Hi-Fi
this will be the first time I own a Zelda game and only the second game I've ever played I'm getting OoT for 3DS Any advice on what NOT to do or what to do right away?
Haku
Don't die. Do explore every nook and cranny. There's quite a few hidden secrets scattered around Hyrule.
Hanz
Use every item in every situation...even if you aren't stuck.

Leon Tros
Its not normal that we have people here that dont know everything there is to know about Zelda games just let yourself get absorbed in the game
Hi-Fi
I have to say the 3D really adds to the immersion. I have one thing I can't figure out so far, though: what exactly am I supposed to do at LonLon Ranch after Ganon takes over? Malon said she wants to play the horse's favorite song, but I tried all of the ones I know and none of them did anything.
Frausky
You play Epona's Song, which Malon teaches you on the ranch as a child.
Linkmaster30000
You do have to pay to ride, though. Malon won't do anything until you free Epona.
Albert Wesker
Epona's completely optional (if I remember correctly, you can longshot the gap in the valley, and the Biggoron's Sword isn't required. She is needed for the 4th bottle though), but she does make traveling a lot faster. Only thing is you can only really use her in Hyrule Field (you can ride her in a few other places, but that's useless). Edited September 13, 2011 by Albert Wesker
Hi-Fi
What do you mean by the fourth bottle, though? I've already gotten two bottles by doing Talon's Super Cuckoo challenge, and I got the one from the Princess. Can't I continually do Talon's challenge to get more bottles, or is two the limit? Linkmaster30000
You can actually only get one from that - the other was from the Kakariko Cucco challenge, a third from Ruto, and a fourth by going ghost hunting on your horse.
Albert Wesker
If you think that's too many bottles, there's 6 in Majora's Mask :Holy Crap:
